UK & Ireland Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

My clients Early Careers function supports the recruitment of graduates, apprentices, summer interns and year in industry students across our UK & Ireland offices.

The role of Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager will be accountable for the delivery of attraction up to the hire for an intake of around 650 per annum. They recruit a mix of disciplines that include all engineering as well as project management, quantity surveying, management consultant, IT, Finance and any other business areas who have a need for early careers.

CANDIDATE SPEFICICATION

Skills and experience

Proven track record of managing an early careers talent acquisition team.
Experience of working in a high-volume intake environment
Experience of budget control and management
Previous knowledge of using an applicant tracking system
An extensive understanding of the UK higher education system
Knowledge of the apprenticeship levy and school education
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Previous experience of recruiting graduates as well as apprentices
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence
Confident to be able to operate in a complex matrix organisationJOB PROFILE

The Early Careers Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for a team of 6 who are all currently based in our Croydon office working flexibly in the office and at home. The role will be supporting the team operationally as well as being accountable for the execution of the Apprentice and Graduate Recruitment strategy.

Key areas of responsibility;

Stakeholder management with senior leaders and all hiring managers
Designing and implementing the overall early careers strategy
Managing and setting the early careers budget
Developing sponsorship relationships
Making sure the team are delivering fair and inclusive recruitment practices across the function that leads into and supports our wider EDI goals.
Working closing with our hiring managers and advising on process and best practice, supporting with the overall strategy.
Managing the content of the early career's website
Building and maintaining relationships with external suppliers.
Production of written submissions for external awards
Work collaboratively with the learning and development team
Provide support at events when required
Review the application and selection process on a cyclical basis to make sure its fit for purpose
