Supporting the Head of Early Experience, you will design and deliver induction and early years learning and performance support for our new start populations, working with our service lines to ensure that student inductions meet their needs, and that the distinct needs of their audiences are met. Induction and early years are a vital period for our new starts: your work will directly impact their expectations, performance and experience of our firm – and likely influence their approach to work for the remainder of their career.
You will be working as part of a team of highly experienced learning professionals, working with a number of third parties and stakeholders from around the business, an extensive faculty (many of whom are partners at Deloitte), and collaborating with Deloitte University to shape the design of induction and early years learning programmes.

You will be responsible for induction and early years’ development as it relates to our new start populations.
Ensuring that our new start induction programmes measurably improve the performance and experience of new joiners to our business.
Undertaking audience analysis required to develop audience personas, and new starter journeys, experiences and resources.
Ensuring that our Purpose, People Priorities and Values are reflected in all new start and early years programmes.
Designing programmes that incorporate experiential and digital elements in order to optimise efficiency and effectiveness of programme delivery.
Commissioning and development of digital content.
Liaising with service line learning leads to ensure that programmes meet service-line specific requirements.
Working with service line leads and senior learning business partners to align programmes with portfolio-specific programme elements delivered within by the service line.
Creation of a flexible, reusable and modular framework for the design of induction and early years programmes.
Measurement and reporting of programme impact on the performance and experience of new start populations.
Working with the Central Business Services teams to manage faculty and events required by induction and early years programmes.
Working with the onboarding team to agree a seamless onboarding experience, with clear accountabilities.
Quality assurance and compliance of programme, ensuring inclusion, wellbeing and psychological safety for programme participants.
Communication related to induction.
Facilitation, where required, of programme elements.
Updates to digital induction and performance support platforms and user-testing.
Managing the Deloitte Faculty and third-party vendor relationships as they relate to induction and early years programmes.

Your professional experience
You should care about our new starter population, and how we support them and help them develop. This role should be a means for you to do what you love and make a difference.
Experience of induction and early years programme design and development.
Proven experience of facilitating induction/personal development programmes.
You should have significant experience of working with senior stakeholders in large organisations. Many of our most senior people have a keen interest in induction and early years programmes; it’s important that you are comfortable in these discussions.
Experience of designing blended learning programmes, incorporating world-class digital design elements.
You should have significant experience of budget management.
You should have an excellent grasp of models of learning, learning theory, assessment and styles.
You should have some experience in the creation and deployment of digital content for learning purposes, such as video, podcasts, guides and animations.
Innovative thinking in the design and delivery of learning programmes.
You should have some experience of third-party contracting and management.
You should have some experience of demand- and resource-planning.
You should have some experience of event management and logistics.
Some experience of dramatic arts, marketing or management consultancy.
