The Role

HR Manager – 3 Days a week -London (West End) To 90k pa (pro rata) plus benefits including bonus, healthcare, pension and hybrid working

This is an exciting opportunity to join this fast growing, dynamic business with an excellent track record. The business is now looking to hire a dedicated HR professional to take responsibility for all aspects of the HR function.

We think the role might appeal to an experienced HR professional who:

-Might be wanting to return to the workplace after a career break but not wanting to commit to a full time role

-might want more of a life/work balance

-might be starting their own consultancy and would like the security of a permanent three day per week role


-Market leading investment management business authorised and regulated by the FCA

-Over £7 billion in assets

-10 equity partner, and total employee size of 50

-Developing a super efficient and effective recruitment process to help the business acquire the best possible talent. This will include maintaining and developing a panel of preferred recruiters

-Reviewing and preparing offer letters and employment contracts, as well as all associated documentation that relate to any changes to employee’s contracts

-Conducting pre-employment checks and onboarding of new people, with follow ups on probation reviews

-Managing annual and interim performance review evaluations

-Assessing the development needs of partners and employees and implementing appropriate training, development coaching and mentoring programmes

-Ensuring the provision of good quality, appropriate and clearly communicated advice to line managers on all aspects of HR Management, policy and practice, including, employee relations issues and career development

-Overseeing the people HR database including accurate confidential personnel files


-Professional and confident with strong organisational and interpersonal skills -Proven management skills and report writing skills

-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

-A proactive mindset, a team player and the ability to work on own initiative

-Ability to form effective relationships with people at all levels

-Highly diplomatic and discreet with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
