My clients Early Careers function supports the recruitment of graduates, apprentices, summer interns and year in industry students across our UK & Ireland offices.
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our team and take a lead on the apprenticeship piece. You will be managing the end to end process of attraction to hire for apprentices, but also support on the graduate side. You will be joining a team of five early careers professionals who are passionate about building a strong and diverse pipeline for our business. We are based in Croydon, Surrey and the role requires around 2 days in the office and 3 days can be remote working.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Working closing with our hiring managers and advising on process and best practice, supporting with the overall strategy. Managing a high volume of apprentice, graduate, and intern vacancies and carrying out all associated activities including screening applications; shortlisting; arranging interviews; managing the offer and decline process. Being a key contact in the business to provide expertise on early careers across the UK. Line Management of one early careers talent acquisition advisor. Creating the apprentice strategy which leads into the overall early career's strategy. Making sure we are delivering fair and inclusive recruitment practices across the function that leads into and supports our wider EDI goals. Delivering talks with schools and making sure our apprenticeship opportunities are reaching the target audience. Delivering campus engagement across the UK.Candidate Specification
To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates with the following:
Experience of delivering early careers recruitment on a large scale. Successful track record in working for a large complex organisation. Good understanding of apprenticeships, the levy, the Gatsby benchmarks, and the UK education system. Excellent stakeholder management in working with senior leaders. Experience of the full lifecycle from attraction to hire. Ability to influence and promote best practice in our recruitment processes
