Liberty HR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a brand new Client in Portsmouth, who is one of the largest employers in the City.
Our Client is looking for a Strategic HR Lead on an FTC basis, to cover maternity, until the end of August 2022.
The salary is up to £74,000 and they are very happy to consider part or full time hours.
You will mainly be home based with occasional attendance in their offices in Portsmouth.
Working with Directors of the business, you will provide a strategic lead across the HR Management team and oversee the delivery of the HR business plan, whilst giving focused attention to strategic programmes, such as;
* Looking at connectivity; new ways of working, hybrid ways to create a flexible agile workforce whilst keeping customers at the heart of everything the business does.
* HR System implementation; the business has recently gone live with a new ERP system and the HR module (recruitment and on-boarding) is to be launched.
As a person you will be CIPD qualified and have experience of operating at a senior level in HR, within a large and complex unionised organisation.
You will have excellent and up to date knowledge of employment legislation, case law, TUPE and HR practice. You will have managed a team, have strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
Experience of managing projects will be extremely advantageous as will knowledge of recruitment, talent management and HR system implementation and/or development.
