An exciting opportunity has become available for a Strategic People Partner, reporting into the People Director. Working closely with the business leaders and line managers you will advise, guide and coach the business on all people strategies to ensure that the organisation maximises our people’s potential. You will provide challenge and consistent approaches in building people capability, talent and succession, organisational design, to achieve shared organisational objectives and the People strategy Road Map. Acting as the people expert you will lead transformational projects to enhance people experience and deliver a high performing culture.
As the Strategic People Partner you will deliver the people strategy, liaising with other partners such learning partners to tap into the expertise, to include talent, succession, culture, transformation, innovation, resourcing, well being and diversity. You will manage key people projects, act as change agent for major and minor transformation projects to ensure a seamless and effective implementation. Working on Key employee engagement projects, aligning Simplify working practices.
We are a data driven organisation and so as the Strategic People Partner, you will produce and use people data, metrics and insight to inform and drive strategy, decision making, performance improvement and change across business areas. Provide advice and guidance on people practices, facilitating discussion on areas such as restructures, succession planning, talent management, performance management, organisational design and development presenting challenge as needed to ensure a successful outcome. To promote and provide modern platforms for employee voice and to ensure that the workforce and their levels of engagement are industry leading.
In order to be successful for this role, you will have experience operating as a strategic HR or People Experience Business Partner. Proven ability to effectively manage transformation programmes. Demonstrate experience of thinking and operating strategically as well as commercial acumen. The ability to develop others, effective coaching skills, to unlock potential and harness talent management. Proven ability to build key relationships and effectively collaborate with others. The ability to make strategic decisions and to be viewed within the business as a skilled influencer who thinks ahead and anticipates possible outcomes/impacts of decisions or interventions.
