With a massively ambitious growth plan ahead, BestSecret is looking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and inspirational SVP, People who will shape and execute the people strategy, leading the People function as a whole and forming a core part of the company leadership team.
The SVP, People will be at the epicentre of BestSecret and influence the entirety of the business. You will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, forming and delivering a people strategy that delivers BestSecret’s ambition to ‘leapfrog’ into its next phase of growth. With an operational HR team in place and foundational basics to build on, you will get the opportunity to construct and shape a game-changing team who will all play a part in building one of the most exciting tech businesses in Europe. You will empower BestSecret to become a magnet for the best tech talent in the world, overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, learning and development, compensation, HR operations, workforce data & analytics, diversity & inclusion, organisation development and culture.

Significant proven experience of leadership within a high-growth People function, with a well-developed understanding of how culture informs business growth and performance
Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence, charisma, and gravitas to inspire colleagues at all levels. You will have a natural ability to build rapport quickly with a range of individuals at all levels
Experienced in managing and using people data and analytics to support your work and influence the business
Proven experience in leading transformation projects and feel at home leading on innovative people strategies and operations
Innovative, enthusiastic, and curious, with an ‘always learning’ mindset. A high level of integrity is a must
Highly capable and mentally dexterous, you thrive in fast-paced and unstructured environments, where the expectation is to adopt ‘an owner’s mentality’ and operate with a strong sense of urgency to deliver tangible results
An entrepreneurial outlook with a “no task too small” attitude; willing to roll up your sleeves but equally comfortable delegating and working as part of a team
